Formed in the early 90’s, Toyz is a polished rock act who melds genres of music melded by bands who melded previous genres of music. Consisting of members Vinnie Cavarra: lead guitar/vocals, a veteran of touring and arena-rock from San Diego, California; Kevin Mason, vocals/drums, a veteran of local clubs and live performance; Dr. Bob Richards, drums/no vocals, a veteran of local clubs and live performance; and Tony Esperance, bass/vocals/keyboards, a veteran of live playing and studio production from Ventura, California. Toyz entertains audiences with an arousing selection of modern and classic-rock tunes delivered with the smooth seduction and climactic satisfaction of a veteran rock act. Honored as Best Rock Band in the 2016 South Coast Music Awards, Vinnie Cavarra was also voted Best Guitarist, Bob Richards Best Drummer, and Kevin Mason Best Male Vocalist and they were voted BEST BAND in The World Newspaper’s “Best of The South Coast” 2016 issue The name says it all: TOYZ “It’s a Rock Show.”
